dengue-epidemic

This dataset describes online news text with topic 'Dengue Epidemic'. This dataset contains the sources of the news and sentences collection for each news. We get this dataset from 14 online news websites (BBC, CNA, CNN, FOX News, Huffing Post, Medical News, National Geographic, NYTimes, Stuff, The Guardian, Times of India, USA today, WHO, and Yahoo News). First we crawling URLs of online news by using Python. Since the text still in HTML format, we decide to clean the HMTL elements on the text. After get the URLs, we use wget to download online news text from the URLs. Then we separate the sentences of each online news text and we save in Excel format. We also provide the dataset in .csv format.
