本数据是中国林业统计年鉴2006中长江上游、黄河上中游各地区天然林资源保护工程建设情况。统计了长江上游、黄河上中游国有重点林区涉及各省工程区木材产量、荒山荒（沙）地造林面积、年末实有封山(沙)育林面积、年末实有森林管护面积、工程区项目实施单位人员情况、林业投资完成额、本年资金来源。

This dataset is sourced from the 2006 China Forestry Statistical Yearbook, detailing the construction status of the Natural Forest Protection Project (NFPP) across regions in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the upper and middle reaches of the Yellow River. It compiles statistical data for the project areas of each province covered under the key state-owned forest regions in the aforementioned areas, including timber output, afforestation area on barren mountains, barren hills and sandy wasteland, actual enclosed mountain (sandy) forest regeneration area at the end of the year, actual forest management and protection area at the end of the year, personnel conditions of project implementation units in the project areas, total completed forestry investment, and funding sources of the current year.
