An assessment of distribution and threats to the Bornean orangutan: a survey preamble and questionnaire details

The dataset provides the interview preamble and questionnaire details of a survey used in an assessment of the distribution and threats to the Bornean orangutan (Pongo pygmaeus) in Kalimantan, the Indonesian part of the island of Borneo.

A survey of nearly 7000 locals was completed. The orangutan survey was developed and administered by The Nature Conservancy (TNC) and the Indonesian Association of Primatologists (PERHAPPI), and implemented by 18 local non-government organisations (NGOs).

The questionnaire contains 33 questions.
