TME-Responsive Nanotherapy Targeting SOAT1 Reprograms Lipid Metabolism to Reinvigorate T Cells and Suppress Hepatocellular Carcinoma

The immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) limits current therapies. To address this, we developed a TME-responsive nanoplatform, folic acid-modified pH/glutathione-dual-responsive poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(lactic acid) nanoparticles loaded with Avasimibe (FA-pH-PEG-PLA@Ava), for targeted inhibition of sterol O-acyltransferase 1 (SOAT1).
