LAI - spectrometer - flightline

Leaf Area Index (LAI): the ratio of upper leaf surface area to ground area (for broadleaf canopies), or projected conifer needle surface area to ground area (for coniferous plants) for a given unit area; quantified by an industry standard (ATCOR) algorithm based on Soil Adjusted Vegetation Index (SAVI) as input; level 2 data are provided by flight line.

Data are derived from the "Spectrometer orthorectified surface directional reflectance - flight line" data product (DP1.30006.001).
