Meta-analysis results of white matter hyperintensities (WMH) volume genome wide association study (GWAS) in older population-based studies from the CHARGE (Cohorts for Heart and Aging Research in Genomic Epidemiology) consortium and the UK biobank.]]> Meta-analysis from CHARGE (n=21,666) cohorts and UK biobank (n=26,788), on the linear association model for White matter hyperintensity (WMH) values (inverse normal transformed). Please refer the methods in the main article for additional informations. Individuals with a history of stroke (or MRI-defined brain infarcts involving the cortical grey matter), or other pathologies that may influence the measurement of WMH (e.g. brain tumor, head trauma, etc.), at the time of MRI were excluded from analyses.]]>
