A souvenir fan from the Apex Night Club, Los Angeles, California, USA, 1920s. The shape of the fan is like a hand mirror with a brown handle and border and the mirror portion containing a colored image of a red-haired woman in a sleeveless diaphonous dress and green shawl or cape. Pasted onto the reverse is a label giving information about the club, including address, hours, phone number, and the name of Mosby's Dixieland Blue Blowers, a band providing dance music to club patrons. With edge rubbing, dents on the left and right sides, slight soiling, looseness through a major crease at the top of the handle, scratches at the front near the center, stains on the back, and fingerprints, the overall condition is good.
