Data and analysis code for: Diversity and activity patterns of medium and large mammals in the Bosque Cachil Private Conservation Area, Cajamarca, Peru

This dataset supports the scientific note submitted to Revista Peruana de Biología: "Diversity and activity patterns of medium and large mammals in the Bosque Cachil Private Conservation Area, Cajamarca, Peru."

Camera trap surveys were conducted between February and October 2022 at four stations in the western sector of ACP Bosque Cachil (Contumazá, Cajamarca, Peru), accumulating 798 trap-nights and yielding 145 independent records of eight wild mammal species.

Files included:- record_table_cachil.csv: Independent camera trap records (raw data).   Columns: Species, DateTime, Station, Camera, TriggerMode.- sun_times.csv: Daily sunrise and sunset times used for activity   pattern classification. Columns: Date, Sunrise, Sunset.- pipeline_cachil.py: Python script to reproduce all statistical   analyses and figures (IAR calculation, activity pattern   classification, Figure 2). Requires Python 3.8+, pandas, matplotlib.- 06_Datos_Tabla2.csv: Summary table of activity patterns per species.- 07_Cronologia_Esfuerzo.csv: Monthly camera effort by station   (trap-nights proxy, Table S1).
