Developmental Transcriptomes of Folsomia candida (Denmark strain)

Collembola are a group of primitive, ametabolous and wingless basal hexapods, intermediate between Crustacea and Insecta. Most of them bear some special abdominal appendages. Researches about their morphological development remain scarce. Here we generate a detailed time-course transcriptomes data of Folsomia candida (Denmark strain), covering the whole developmental process, including eggs (from the 0.5th to 9.5th day, days after egg laying), juveniles (the 12.5th, 19.5th and 28.5th days, days after egg laying), and adults (the 31.5th and 45.5th day, days after egg laying), to explore genes expression pattern during the embryogenesis and development of Folsomia candida.
