Endeavour East Bottom Pressure Recorder Deployed 2018-06-28

The NRCan Bottom Pressure Recorder 8C was deployed on 2018-06-28 at Endeavour East. This station is located to the east of the Endeavour Hydrothermal Vents, and includes instrumentation near the NEPTUNE observatory Endeavour node. This device is a Bottom Pressure Recorder. Bottom Pressure Recorders (BPR) are instruments that can detect small changes in pressure on the seafloor. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 2.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

加拿大自然资源部（Natural Resources Canada，简称NRCan）的8C型海底压力记录仪（Bottom Pressure Recorder，简称BPR）于2018年6月28日在奋进东站点完成布放。该站点坐落于奋进热液喷口东侧，其配套监测仪器紧邻NEPTUNE观测站奋进节点。该设备即为海底压力记录仪，此类仪器可探测海底压力的细微变化。本次布放的记录仪搭载于固定式平台之上，采集数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 2.0数字基础设施对外共享；数据的质量管控与衍生产品制作均遵循行业通用规范。
