Canadian Gallup Poll, December 1985, #504_1

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on such topics as the closeness of Canada-US relations and mandatory retirement. The quality of schools and questions regarding unions are also included. Topics of interest include: the biggest threat to Canada; the chances of children being happy; the closeness of Canada-US relations; mandatory retirement at the age of 65; the most important problems in Canada; the power of unions in the future; the quality of community public schools and unions leaders as trouble-makers . Basic demographic variables are also included.

本盖洛普（Gallup）民调数据集旨在征集加拿大民众对多元议题的看法，议题涵盖加美关系亲密度、强制退休制度等，同时包含学校办学质量与工会相关调研问题。本次调研聚焦的核心议题包括：加拿大面临的最大威胁、儿童获得幸福的可能性、加美关系亲密度、65岁强制退休政策、加拿大当前最紧要的社会问题、未来工会的影响力、社区公立学校办学质量，以及将工会领袖视为麻烦制造者相关的调研视角。本数据集同时纳入基础人口统计学变量。
