Japan Construction Cost Database (JCCDB) v5.0: 95,403 line items and 330,362 sourced observations from Japanese public documents

JCCDB v5.0 adds an observation layer for Japan to the unchanged v4.0 item catalogue of 95,403 construction and renovation line items. The observation layer holds 330,362 rows (302,179 with a value) from 76 Japanese public sources: MLIT design labor rates, regional design material unit prices, public-works unit prices, construction cost statistics and deflators. One row is one observation of an item, in a region, at a point in time, with the evidence URL, source page and licence. Rows from sources whose terms forbid reproduction are not included, even without values, and no values from commercial price publications are included.
