资源简介:
Peptidoglycan recognition proteins (PGRPs) work for immune response in vertebrates and higher invertebrates. Animals have variable number of PGRP genes: four in human and mouse, 13 in Drosophila, and 0 in an aphid. Nephotettix cincticeps has the bacteriomes in the abdomen, the organ for endosymbionts. PGRP genes were mostly expressed in the bacteriomes. The present RNA-Seq analysis was performed to elucidate how many number of PGRP genes are expressed in this leafhopper.
