Stable isotope and elemental data of four Red Sea corals

This dataset includes stable isotope (δ¹³C, δ¹⁵N) and elemental (C:N) data of four Red Sea corals namely Stylophora pistillata, Acropora sp., Millepora dichotoma and Tubastrea coccinea, collected over a one year period from April 2022 - February 2023. This dataset has been used in two manuscripts. One is under considerdation at Communications Biology (Hill et al.), and the other is under cosnideration at ISME Communications (Thobor et al.).While both manuscripts are using this dataset, they are investigating very different aspects: E.g.,Hill et al. is investigating the envrionmental drivers of denitrification across the four Red Sea coral species Stylophora pistillata, Acropora sp., Millepora dichotoma, Tubastrea coccinea).Thobor et al., is investigating adapatation strategies of 2 of the corals (Stylophora pistillata and Millepora dichotoma) to environmental change. This datatset was collected at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology in collaboration with the University of Bremen.
