This dataset contains the anonymized survey responses collected for the study on teachers’ use, knowledge, perceptions, and training level regarding Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in Spain. The data were obtained through a quantitative, cross-sectional research design using a validated questionnaire designed to assess multiple dimensions of teachers’ engagement with GenAI technologies in educational contexts. The dataset includes responses from 838 in-service teachers working across different educational levels within the Spanish education system, including primary education, secondary education, vocational training, and higher education. The instrument measured four core constructs: (1) GenAI Tool Use (GTU), (2) GenAI Knowledge (GKN), (3) Perceptions and Attitudes toward GenAI (PAG), and (4) GenAI Training Level (GTL), along with basic sociodemographic and professional variables (sex, age group, teaching level, years of teaching experience, and school ownership). All data have been fully anonymized, and no personally identifiable information is included. Participation was voluntary, and informed consent was obtained from all respondents prior to data collection. The dataset is intended to support transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analyses related to artificial intelligence adoption, digital competence, educational technology integration, and teacher professional development. The data may be reused for research and educational purposes, provided that appropriate citation of the original study is maintained.
