This series contains the original signed minutes of the Council of Technical and Further Education and includes the inaugural minutes of the council from 23 April,1975. They document the background to decisions made about facilities and the initiatives undertaken by Technical and Further Education NSW that bring about planned and systematic management in the organisation. The council was formed as required by the Technical and Further Education Act of 1974.The minutes are headed with the number, location, date and time of the meeting. They provide a record of the meeting in the following structure: Present, attendance, apologies, confirmation of previous minutes, business arising, Director General's reports, committee reports and other business. The minutes also contain a record of resolutions. These are noted with a running number in the minutes with the prefix of the year of the meeting. For example the first resolution in 1977 is recorded as 77/1, the second is 77/2 and so on.The minutes are typed and compiled into volumes and arranged in chronological order.
