Exit headings, measured clockwise from North in 5 degree increments, as recorded in each trial of each experiment reported in this study. Orientation errors were calculated from differences between the exit headings of subsequent trials, and, where appropriate, the rotation of the stimulus (±90 degrees) was subtracted from this value to give orientation error relative to stimulus position.

退出航向(Exit headings):本研究报告的各项实验的每一轮试次中所记录的该参数,均以正北为基准,按顺时针方向以5度为增量完成测量。定向误差(Orientation error)通过相邻试次的退出航向差值计算得到;在适宜情形下,需从该差值中扣除刺激物(stimulus)的旋转角度(±90度),最终得到与刺激物位置相对应的定向误差。
