Commercial properties at flood damage risk in the U.S. 2022, by state

In 2022, more than 66.4 thousand commercial buildings in California were at risk of flood damage, of which roughly 77 percent were retail buildings. At the time, Florida and Texas each also had more than 55 thousand commercial buildings facing flood damage risk. The risk to the commercial sector is primarily concentrated in densely populated areas.
