Dataset for eIMCI study

The Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI) faces challenges in capacity building and quality control. This trial aims to assess an electronic IMCI (eIMCI) platform in improving the effectiveness and efficiency in disease classification and management by community health workers (CHWs). The project team conducted a small open-label, parallel cluster randomized controlled trial with a 1:1 allocation ratio. A 'cluster' was defined as a community health worker (CHW) assigned three child patients. In this dataset, all participating CHWs and child caretakers provided written informed consent. This study adheres to the CONSORT 2010 guidelines for cluster randomized trials.
