气溶胶的二次形成和扩散过程极其复杂,对环境和人类健康有重大影响。因此,探索基于独立的新型示踪剂的气溶胶形成和扩散过程一直是人们关注的问题。7 Be和10Be仅由宇宙射线的作用产生,化学稳定,并吸附在气溶胶上传播,因此它们具有气溶胶示踪剂的潜在特性。利用西安加速器质谱中心的3MV加速器质谱仪测量了西安市秋冬季(典型污染区重污染期)日分辨率大气7Be和10Be,并基于气溶胶中铝元素的含量校正了由重悬浮粉尘10Be带来的干扰。
The secondary formation and diffusion processes of aerosols are extremely complex, and exert substantial impacts on the environment and human health. Therefore, exploring the aerosol formation and diffusion processes based on independent novel tracers has long been a topic of great concern in the research community. Both 7Be and 10Be are produced exclusively via cosmic ray interactions, are chemically stable, and adsorb onto aerosols during atmospheric transport, thus qualifying them as potential tracers for aerosols. Using the 3MV accelerator mass spectrometer at the Xi'an Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Center, we measured daily-resolution atmospheric concentrations of 7Be and 10Be in Xi'an during autumn and winter, a period covering heavy pollution events in typical polluted regions, and corrected the interference caused by 10Be originating from heavily suspended dust using the aluminum content in aerosols as a reference.
