Detrital zircon thermochronologic analysis of the Lanaittu Sandstone in Eastern Sardinia, Italy

The data set comprises the results of the (U-Th)/He analysis of detrital zircons from two samples (177-1 and 177-2) of the Lanaittu Sandstone. The analysis was performed following the procedure as in Pickering et al. (2020) and Härtel et al. (2026) using a Resonetics Resolution LR 193 nm excimer laser attached to an Alphachron system for the He measurement. The Alphachron He extraction system was equipped with an ultra-high vacuum chamber. The laser ablation system was set up with a spot size of 15 µm, an ablation time of 6 s and a repetition rate of 10 Hz. The same system setting was used to measure both the validation references and the samples.
