TGFBR1 is an on-off switch for exosome-induced neuroprotection and visual function improvement

To investigate the neuroprotective role of TGFβR1 in retinal ganglion cells (RGCs), we isolated adult RGCs from TGFβR1flx/flxvglut2-Cre+/- and TGFβR1flx/flxvglut2-Cre-/- mice. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of 2 different cells. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for adult RGCs from TGFβR1flx/flxvglut2-Cre+/- and TGFβR1flx/flxvglut2-Cre-/- mice. Three samples each group.
