Patricia Bay Turbidity Meter Deployed 2012-08-12

The WET Labs ECO-NTUS 372 was deployed on 2012-08-12 at Patricia Bay. Patricia Bay is located in the Saanich Inlet, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island. This device is a Turbidity Meter. Turbidity meters are sensors that detect scattered light from suspended particles in water. The amount of scattered light that reaches the detector is proportional to the turbidity or particle concentration in the water. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.

WET Labs ECO-NTUS 372于2012年8月12日在帕特里夏湾完成部署。帕特里夏湾地处温哥华岛南端的萨尼奇湾内。该设备为浊度计（Turbidity Meter），其工作原理为检测水体中悬浮颗粒物的散射光，到达探测器的散射光强度与水体浊度或颗粒物浓度呈正比关系。本次部署采用固定平台搭载该设备。本次采集的相关数据已完成归档，并通过加拿大海洋网络（Ocean Networks Canada）的Oceans 3.0数字基础设施对外共享，所有数据均遵循既定规范完成质量保障流程，并生成了配套衍生数据产品。
