Windmill Islands Vegetation GIS Dataset

This is a GIS dataset of the vegetation of the Windmill Islands. \n\nInterpretation was done by Rod Seppelt (Australian Antarctic Division) based on his field work, Zeiss aerial photography flown in January 1994 and a paper: Melick, D.R., Hovenden, M.J., Seppelt, R.D. (1994) Phytogeography of bryophyte and lichen vegetation in the Windmill Islands, Wilkes Land, Continental Antarctica. Vegetatio 111. 71-87 The data have been formatted according to the SCAR Feature Catalogue (see link below).

本数据集为风车群岛（Windmill Islands）植被地理信息系统（Geographic Information System，GIS）数据集。

该数据集的解译工作由罗德·塞佩尔特（Rod Seppelt，澳大利亚南极局）基于其野外调查、1994年1月拍摄的蔡司航空影像，以及一篇学术论文完成：Melick, D.R.、Hovenden, M.J.、Seppelt, R.D.（1994）《南极大陆威尔克斯地风车群岛苔藓与地衣植被的植物地理学研究》，刊载于《Vegetatio》第111卷，第71-87页。本数据集已按照南极研究科学委员会（Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research，SCAR）要素目录（详见下方链接）完成格式规范处理。
