Dataset of geochemical data acquired by the FLXOV8 multiparametric station in the period from October 2018 - May 2025 installed in Pisciarelli area at Campi Flegrei (Southern Italy)

Here are reported the data acquired by the FLXOV8 multiparametric station in the period from October 2018 to May 2025. The station is based on the Digitizer "GEMMA", developed within the technological research activities of the "Osservatorio Vesuviano", INGV section of Naples. The station was installed on October 2018 in the Pisciarelli area (Latitude 40°49'45.04"N, Longitude 14° 8'50.19"E, WGS84 datum), it is equipped with sensors for measuring parameters needed for estimating the CO2 flux emitted from diffuse degassing and from fumaroles. In particular, the station is equipped with: A sonic sensor for measuring wind direction and intensity at the height of 2.5 m above the soil. A MultiGas measurement system At height of 2.5m above the soil, comprising an IR detector (Edinburgh Scientific, ±2%FS) for measuring CO2 concentration in a 0-5000 ppm range (error ; electrochemical sensors (CityTech, reproducibility ±1% FS, no temperature compensation) for measuring H2S (0-50 ppm) and SO2 (0-200 ppm) concentrations. Pt 100 sensors for measuring the temperature of the main fumarole and another emission. The uploaded excel file "Pisciarelli_2018-2025.xls" contains data for which a continuous time series is available. Specifically, the "chamber" sheet reports the following parameters: Column B: CO2 concentration in the air measured in the accumulation chamber at approximately 40 cm above the ground, before the start of the soil CO2 flux measurement. Column C: CO2 flux from the soil, expressed as gm-2d-1 (gram per square meter per day), measured using the accumulation chamber method. In the "multigas" sheet, the gas concentration values in the air are measured only at a of approximately 2.5 meters, along with wind measurement at the same height. Specifically: Column B: CO2 concentration in the air expressed in ppmv. Column C: H2S concentration in the air expressed in ppmv. Column D: SO2 concentration in the air expressed in ppmv. Column E: U Wind intensity in m/sec in the E-W direction. Column F: V Wind intensity in m/sec in the S-N direction. The "Temp-Patm" sheet reports the temperature values of the fumaroles and the atmospheric pressure. Specifically: Column B: Temperature (°C) of the main fumarole "soffione" in the Pisciarelli area measured up to 25/01/2025. Column C: Temperature of another fumarole located about 5 meters from the main fumarole, monitored starting from 26/05/2025. Column D: Atmospheric pressure reported in mbar
