VPRS 7273 Contract Register

This series registered and summarised contracts let by the Waterworks Trust. Section 251 of the Water Act 1890 (No.1156), and similar provisions in later Water Acts stated that contract registers were to specify the several works to be done and the materials to be furnished and the prices to be paid for the same and the times within which the said works are to be completed and the said materials to be furnished.

本系列档案对水务信托（Waterworks Trust）签订的各类合同进行了登记与汇总。1890年《水务法》（Water Act）第251条（编号1156）及后续多部《水务法》中的类似条款均规定，合同登记册需列明拟实施的各项工程、需供应的各类物料、对应的付款金额，以及前述工程完工与物料供应的时限。
