该数据集是一个多模态数据集，它通过为结构化的原子事件和新闻文章添加对应的图片，对现有的事件数据集MidEast-TE-mini进行了扩展。在图片的选择过程中，我们使用了基于新闻文章标题的Google图片搜索功能，并通过Gemini-1.0-Pro-Vision模型对图片的相关性进行了筛选。该数据集的任务是进行时间事件预测。
This is a multimodal dataset that expands the existing event dataset MidEast-TE-mini by adding corresponding images to structured atomic events and news articles. During the image selection process, we used Google Image Search based on the titles of the news articles, and filtered the relevance of the retrieved images via the Gemini-1.0-Pro-Vision model. The dataset is designed for temporal event prediction tasks.
