Data set including symmetry index values and individual leg values for biomechanical variables in female runners with a lower limb amputation, using a running-specific prosthesis. Variables include metabolic power, leg stiffness, contact time, stance-average and peak vertical ground reaction forces; collected while running at 2.5 meters per second. Includes statistical models used in the analysis.
