大气红外探测仪(AIRS,AtmosphericInfraredSounder),安装于EOSPM-1卫星上的新型红外遥感仪,资料始于2002年8月。大气红外探测仪提供对陆地、海洋和大气的红外光谱数据,主要应用于探测大气温湿度,以推动全球气候研究和天气预报的进展。CO2柱浓度通过查分吸收光谱发计算,空间分辨率2.5°×2.5°。
Atmospheric Infrared Sounder (AIRS), a novel infrared remote sensing instrument mounted on the EOS PM-1 satellite, has observational data dating back to August 2002. AIRS provides infrared spectral data of land, oceans and the atmosphere, and is primarily used to detect atmospheric temperature and humidity to advance global climate research and weather forecasting. Columnar CO2 concentration is calculated via differential absorption spectroscopy, with a spatial resolution of 2.5°×2.5°.
