In order to study the effects of a biocontrol strain of potato common scab on soil microbial communities, we conducted a pot experiment, and the tuberosphere and rhizosphere soil samples were collected during the potato growth. The universal primers 515F and 806R were used to amplify the variable region V4 of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene , and the amplicon libraries were sequenced on an Illumina Miseq PE300 sequencer.
