VPRS 13437 Group Managers' Files, Engineering Services Division

The series was created to collate the activities of the three group managers of the Engineering Services Division of the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA, VA 1044) for the period 1987 to 1989, and the Public Transport Corporation (PTC, VA 2984) for the period 1989 to 1998. The respective managers for this period were Gail Moody, Bob Detering and David Patterson.The series documented the specialised functions of the Engineering Services Division, and consisted of:- Project files eg Docklands development, bridge construction and automatic ticketing and fare collection; ministerial reports (copies),- Policy files eg level crossing management, electrolysis and safety accreditation and files relating to Human Resource Management,- Minutes and agenda of various working parties eg Docklands Site Clearance Committee, Automatic Fare Collection Committee, Victorian Electrolysis Committee, Facilities Managers Network Meeting and Railway Level Crossings Working group.The registered files of the Division are located in VPRS 13438 General Files, Engineering Services Division and Infrastructure Division.
