Whole genome sequencing of Klebsiella pneumoniae strain Klep3588 isolated from hospital wastewater in Iraq

This project involves whole-genome sequencing of Klebsiella pneumoniae strain Klep3588, isolated from hospital wastewater in Babylon, Iraq. The isolate was obtained during experiments investigating the microbial biodegradation of the pharmaceutical compound ibuprofen. The generated genomic data will support the identification of genes related to stress tolerance, xenobiotic degradation, and environmental adaptation.
