This series comprises volumes recording day and night reports for Thornbury Lodge.The reports are arranged in chronological order. They are written by the officer in charge during the day or night shift. Each report provides the number of admissions, discharges and the number of children at the home during the shift. The reports also record some children's names along with observations of their health, treatment and medication.Each day and night report is signed and dated by the officer in charge.

本系列收录了索恩伯里保育院（Thornbury Lodge）的昼夜值班报告卷宗。所有报告均按时间顺序编排，由当日或夜班的当班主管撰写。每份报告均会记录当值时段内的入院人数、出院人数，以及保育院在园儿童的总数量；同时还会收录部分儿童的姓名，以及针对其健康状况、诊疗过程与用药情况的观察记录。每份昼夜值班报告均需由当班主管签字并标注日期。
