资源简介:
These datasets support the study “Effectiveness of an Acrobatic Gymnastics Programme for the Improvement of Social Skills and Self-Esteem in Adolescents” published in Sustainability (Reguera-López-de-la-Osa et al., 2023; https://doi.org/10.3390/su15075910).The research evaluates the effectiveness of an acrobatic gymnastics programme implemented in Physical Education classes to improve social skills and self-esteem in adolescents, and to examine the association between both constructs. The sample consisted of 83 secondary school students aged 14–15 years from Galicia (Spain), assessed using a pre-test/post-test design within a participatory action research framework.Data were collected using two validated instruments: the Ambez@r Group Social Skills Questionnaire and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. Statistical analyses were performed using IBM SPSS Statistics (v25.0), including descriptive statistics, Student’s t-tests for related samples, ANOVA with Bonferroni post hoc tests, Pearson’s correlation analyses, and effect size estimation using Cohen’s d.The repository contains two IBM SPSS Statistics (.sav) files:“Social Skills.sav”, containing pre-test and post-test data for social skills.“Self-Esteem.sav”, containing pre-test and post-test data for self-esteem.Together, these files enable full replication of the statistical analyses reported in the article and support further research on psychosocial outcomes of cooperative and acrobatic gymnastics-based interventions in secondary education.
