Staveley et al. Pink salmon in Sweden. qPCR and dPCR raw data

A comprehensive eDNA sampling scheme was conducted in 27 river systems in south-western Sweden in 2023, with the aim to detect adult spawning pink salmon. We applied qPCR, dPCR and metabarcoding analysis on aquatic eDNA samples. Results indicated the presence of pink salmon at 22 sites across 10 river systems. QCPR and dPCR raw data are presented here. Metabarcoding data not presented due to zero positive detections of pink salmon from this method.

2023年，研究团队在瑞典西南部的27条河流水系中实施了系统性环境DNA（eDNA）采样计划，旨在检测产卵期成年粉红鲑（pink salmon）。本研究对所采集的水体eDNA样本开展了定量聚合酶链式反应（qPCR）、数字聚合酶链式反应（dPCR）及宏条形码（metabarcoding）分析。结果显示，在覆盖10个河流水系的22个采样点中均检出粉红鲑的存在。本研究公开了qPCR与dPCR的原始实验数据。由于采用宏条形码技术未检出任何粉红鲑阳性样本，故未公开该部分实验数据。
