MesoWat_Source simulation: evaporation sources of the target E-Alps 14-16 Novembre 2002

The dataset contains the sources of surface and virga evaporation of the hourly rainfall during the heavy rainfall episode November 14-16, 2002 in E-Alps (target region/hourly rainfall). The data corresponds to the output of the MesoWat_Source modeling system developed by the authors. The 3D position/concentration of the target vapor (evaporated from the sources) during its approach to the target region is also included.

1) * iee files: the data is in binary format (**iee files) and can be represented using the Grid Analysis and Visualization System (GrADS). GrADS is copyrighted under the terms of the GNU Public License and is freely distributed.

2) File "nov2002_Ealps_v3_pbl3.ctl: the Grads control file (data descriptor file). It contains in ASCII format the mapping of the binary data (*iee). It can be edited with Wordpad, Kwrite ... and has to be changed to point to the directory that contains the binary files (**iee) .This file also contains a description of all variables and units.

本数据集涵盖2002年11月14日至16日东阿尔卑斯山（目标区域/逐小时降雨）强降雨事件中，逐小时降雨过程对应的地表蒸发与雨幡（virga）蒸发的水汽源项。本数据集的数据均来自作者开发的MesoWat_Source模拟系统的输出结果。此外，数据集还收录了从上述源区蒸发的目标水汽在向目标区域输送过程中的三维位置与浓度信息。

1) * iee文件：数据采用二进制格式（文件后缀为.iee），可通过网格分析与可视化系统（Grid Analysis and Visualization System，缩写GrADS）进行处理与可视化。GrADS遵循GNU通用公共许可证（GNU Public License）进行版权声明，可免费分发使用。

2) 文件"nov2002_Ealps_v3_pbl3.ctl"：该文件为GrADS控制文件（数据描述文件），以ASCII格式存储二进制.iee数据的映射关系。可通过Wordpad、Kwrite等文本编辑器进行编辑，需修改其中的路径指向，以匹配存储二进制.iee文件的目录。此外，该文件还包含所有变量及其单位的详细说明。
