Prickly pear extract (PPE) has various effects, including antioxidant, hypoglycemic, and antiobesity effects. We assessed the impact of PPE on ethanol-induced HepG2 cells through RNAseq and revealed that the Fanconi anemia (FA) pathway was activated after treatment with PPE.
