Sotalol: effects on haemodynamic and electrocardiographic parameters after single oral administration in the conscious guinea pigs

Dunkin Hartley guinea-pigs, conscious (no telemetry). N=6 male per group. Sotalol at 20 mg/kg, p.o.No PK phase. Haemodynamic parameters (SAP, DAP, MAP, HR). Lead II ECG (RR, PR, QRS, QT, QTcB and QTcF intervals). Haemodynamic and ECG parameters were measured at baseline (before administration, T0), and at 30 (T30), 45 (T45), 60 (T60), 90 (T90), 120 (T120), 180 (T180), 240 (T240) and 360 (T360) min after dosing.
