Quantifying the state of the art of electric powertrains in battery electric vehicles: comprehensive analysis of the Tesla Model 3 on vehicle level

This datasets contains 1 GB of measurement data recorded while performing extensive experiments using a Tesla Model 3 Standard Range Plus from 2020 using LFP cells. The dataset includes (0) images of the teardown of the high-voltage lithium-ion battery pack to cell level, technical drawings and CAD files of the cell, module and battery pack, (1) pOCV measurements on cell and vehicle level, (2) measurmenets of the efficiency of the power unit on a dynamometer, (3) measurements of the driving range for various standard and realistic drving profiles, (4) measurements of driving and charging operations with/without preconditioning and cell balancing and (5) vehicle coastdown measurements.
