This study aims to characterize multidrug-resistant (MDR) Staphylococcus aureus strains isolated from surgical wound and UTI infections using whole genome sequencing (WGS). The primary goal is to identify genetic determinants of antimicrobial resistance, virulence factors, and mobile genetic elements such as plasmids, integrons, and SCCmec types. Bioinformatic analyses will provide insights into the genomic diversity, resistance mechanisms, and potential epidemiological links between isolates. The findings will contribute to improved surveillance, infection control, and therapeutic strategies against MDR S. aureus in clinical settings, particularly in regions with high antibiotic resistance prevalence.
