The CQSN incorporates stations previously part of the North Burnett Seismic Network (NBSN) and other stations operated by CQSRG. The network consists of seismographs of the Kelunji series manufactured by the Seismology Research Centre (SRC) in Australia. Currently Kelunji Classic and Kelunji Echo equipment is used. Guralp and Mark Product sensors are used. The aim of the network is to monitor for and detect earthquakes occurring in the Central Queensland region of Australia.
