Microplastic concentrations in riverine and lake environments of Da Nang province and Quang Nam provinces, Central Vietnam, under COMPOSE (2019-2021) and CounterMEASUREII (2021-2022) projects

Microplastic (300-5000µm) concentrations were measured in the Central Park Lake, Hoa Phu Lake and Han River environments of Da Nang city, and in the Thu Bon River and Cu De River of Quang Nam province Central Vietnam, under the COMPOSE project (2019-2021)and the CounterMEASUREII project (2021-2022). Microplastic were sampled using a 80µm mesh size net from a local boat. The samples were extracted in the laboratory using enzymatic digestion, NaCl density separation and were filtrated on GF-A filter. Then microplastic were observed on stereomicroscope and length, area, color were measured for fragments, line and circle. Concentrations are given in total microplastic per m3, fragment per m3 and fibers per m3. The sampling dates are October 2019, January 2020, May 2020, July 2020, October 2020, January 2021 and March 2021 under COMPOSE Project and October 2021 and January 2022 under the CounterMEASUREII project.
在COMPOSE项目(2019-2021)与CounterMEASUREII项目(2021-2022)资助下,本研究针对越南中部岘港市的中央公园湖(Central Park Lake)、华富湖(Hoa Phu Lake)、汉江(Han River),以及广南省的秋盆河(Thu Bon River)与居德河(Cu De River)的环境介质,测定了粒径300~5000μm的微塑料(Microplastic)浓度。研究采用孔径80μm的网具,依托当地作业船只完成微塑料样品采集。实验室阶段通过酶解、氯化钠密度分离法对样品进行前处理,并采用GF-A滤膜进行过滤。随后借助体视显微镜对微塑料开展观测,并针对碎片状、线状及圆片状颗粒分别测量其长度、面积与颜色特征。浓度统计结果以总微塑料颗粒数/立方米、碎片状微塑料颗粒数/立方米及纤维状微塑料颗粒数/立方米三种形式给出。COMPOSE项目的采样时间为2019年10月、2020年1月、2020年5月、2020年7月、2020年10月、2021年1月及2021年3月;CounterMEASUREII项目的采样时间为2021年10月与2022年1月。
