Supporting data for “Phonological biases in the learning of tonal and segmental alternations”.

The two separate folders in the main folder relate to the two artificial language learning experiments in the thesis. 'tone alternation' folder contains raw and processed data of the experiment on tone alternation learning. 'n~l alternation' folder contains raw and processed data of the experiment on n~l alternation learning. In each folder, the 'stimuli and questionnaire' pdf file contains the experiment stimuli and questionnaires. Participants filled in the questionnaire before the experiments. The experiment stimuli contains all miniature languages for participants to learn and be tested. The experiments were built using the PsychoPy software. Participants' responses were recorded automatically. In each folder, the csv. files contain processed data for analysis. The processed data were analyzed using the R studio software.

主文件夹下的两个独立子文件夹分别对应本论文中的两个人工语言学习实验。“声调交替（tone alternation）”文件夹包含声调交替学习实验的原始数据与处理后数据；“n~l交替（n~l alternation）”文件夹包含n~l交替学习实验的原始数据与处理后数据。每个子文件夹内的“刺激材料与问卷（stimuli and questionnaire）”PDF文件收录了实验所用的刺激材料与问卷内容：被试需在实验开始前填写该问卷。实验刺激材料涵盖供被试学习与接受测试的全部微型人工语言。本实验基于PsychoPy软件搭建，被试的反应数据将被自动记录。各子文件夹内的CSV文件均为可供分析的处理后数据，此类数据通过R Studio软件完成统计分析。
