Small RNA sequencing of mouse brain after middle cerebral artery occlusion

Here, we analyzed ischemic stroke induced changes in microRNA levels in mouse brain using permanent cerebral ischemia model. We performed enrichment of small RNAs from peri-ischemic brain region for RNA sequencing and present data set containing several small RNA species to facilitate the discovery of ischemia induced changes in non-coding RNAs. Overall design: Small RNAs were enriched and sequenced from mice 3 days after permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion (n=5) or sham (n=6) surgery.
