Acute versus long-term exercise adaptation of adipose tissue and skeletal muscle in humans: A matched transcriptomics approach after 8-week training-intervention

The participants performed an 8-week supervised aerobic endurance exercise intervention program. Biopsies of both adipose tissue and skeletal muscle were collected at associated timepoints and a matched analysis was performed. This SuperSeries is composed of the SubSeries listed below. We performed gene expression microarray analysis in human adipose and muscle tissue biopsies from subjects before and after acute exercise as well as before and after training interventions.
