Hypsibius dujardini Genome sequencing and assembly

The goal of the study was to sequence and assemble the genome of the tardigrade (water bear) Hypsibius dujardini. No published genome exists for the entire phylum tardigrada and thus this project is relevant for studies addressing the evolution, development, and physiology of these organisms.

本研究旨在对缓步动物（Tardigrade，俗称水熊）杜氏高生熊虫（Hypsibius dujardini）的基因组进行测序与组装。目前尚无针对整个缓步动物门（Tardigrada）的已发表基因组序列，因此本项目对该类生物的进化、发育及生理学研究具有重要意义。
