"全国岩矿标本反射率数据集是覆盖可见光－近红外波段的典型岩石、矿物标本波谱数据集。该数据集可用于支持遥感地质找矿、岩矿信息提取、矿物填图、岩矿成分分析与矿物含量的提取，岩性识别与分类、岩矿矿化蚀变信息等地质遥感研究与应用
该数据集岩石包括岩浆岩、沉积岩、变质岩三大类岩石标本光谱，其中岩浆岩75种、变质岩50种、沉积岩50种；矿物标本118种，实验标本存放于河南理工大学地质实验室，标本来自全国主要岩矿产地；南京大学岩石标本光谱108条，共396条数据。另有东北地理所中国北方多个矿山的岩矿644条样本测量数据，部分为野外现场测量，部分为野外采集，固定地点统一测量。测量内容包括光谱反射率（所用仪器为ASD光谱仪，波长范围为350-2500nm）、测量时间、经纬度、测量高度、测量次数、测量人、预处理人、审核人、日光情况、云量、太阳天顶角、方位角、观测角度。数据集共1040条记录。

The National Rock and Mineral Specimen Reflectance Dataset is a spectral dataset of typical rock and mineral specimens covering the visible-near infrared wavelength range. This dataset supports a wide range of geological remote sensing research and applications, including remote sensing-based geological prospecting, rock and mineral information extraction, mineral mapping, analysis of rock and mineral compositions and extraction of mineral contents, lithology identification and classification, and information extraction of rock and mineral mineralization and alteration.
The rock spectral data in this dataset cover three major categories: igneous rocks, sedimentary rocks, and metamorphic rocks, with 75 species of igneous rocks, 50 species of metamorphic rocks, and 50 species of sedimentary rocks. There are also 118 species of mineral specimens. The experimental specimens are stored in the Geological Laboratory of Henan Polytechnic University, and were collected from major rock and mineral producing areas across China. The dataset also includes 108 rock specimen spectral records from Nanjing University, totaling 396 data records.
Additionally, there are 644 measured samples of rocks and minerals from multiple mines in northern China collected by the Northeast Institute of Geography and Agroecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Some of these samples were measured on-site in the field, while others were collected in the field and measured uniformly at fixed locations.
The measured parameters include spectral reflectance (measured using an ASD spectrometer with a wavelength range of 350–2500 nm), measurement time, longitude and latitude, measurement height, number of measurements, operator, preprocessor, reviewer, sunlight conditions, cloud cover, solar zenith angle, azimuth angle, and observation angle. In total, this dataset contains 1040 records.
