This dataset is the spatial distribution data of land use types in Baokang County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province in 2016. It is vector data with attribute fields including land code, land type and other relevant attributes. The land use types are classified into secondary categories: paddy field, dryland, closed forest land, shrub land, open forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glaciers and snowfields, tidal flats, bottom lands, urban land, rural settlements, other construction land, sandy land, gobi, saline-alkali land, marsh, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Among them, cultivated land is categorized by landform into paddy fields and drylands in mountainous, hilly, and plain areas, as well as on slopes with a gradient greater than 25 degrees.
