This dataset includes annotations of sediment collected by a ponar dredge during the GL-23-01 mapping cruise, and images of each dredge sample. The Ponar dredge was deployed at 23 sites distributed around Madeline Island and Gull Island shoals, Lake Superior. Precise sample locations were provided by an ultrashort baseline system.
