Stainless Steel vs Calcium Fluoride for biomedical Raman Spectroscopy

Dataset for the publication Stainless Steel vs Calcium Fluoride for biomedical Raman Spectroscopy. The dataset contains two main folders containing data which has been optimised for CaF2 and matched data (contiguous slices of FFPE colonic tissue) optimised for stainless steel (SS). Within each folder are 18 slides, each of which contain two 'images'. Each image refers to a collection of point spectra taken from a single sample. Inside each image are three files CaF, CaF2 and SS. The CaF data refers to a standard dewaxing protocol which dis not remove all wax. CaF2 is an extended dewaxing protocol. SS had only the standard dewaxing protocol.
